Cedar of Lebanon

Stock Status:

Cedar of Lebanon veneer, sourced from the majestic Cedrus libani, offers a refined and characterful surface ideal for high-end interiors. With tones ranging from pale straw to warm reddish-brown and a straight, occasionally wavy grain, this veneer brings subtle movement and natural warmth to cabinetry, wall panelling, and furniture. Its medium to coarse texture, combined with a soft lustre, gives it an inviting, tactile quality.

What truly sets Cedar of Lebanon apart is its unmistakable, naturally aromatic scent. Rich and woody, the fragrance has long been prized not just for its sensory appeal but also for its practical benefits. Traditionally used in wardrobes and cupboards, the timber’s aroma is known to deter moths and other insects, making it a timeless favourite in fine furniture and interior joinery. Sustainably sourced from FSC-controlled woodlands, this veneer combines elegance, durability, and subtle functionality—ideal for those seeking a surface that looks beautiful, performs well, and offers a touch of heritage charm.

Disclaimers

LRV values are obtained by using a Cromocon® Light Reflectance Value (LRV) Meter.

For both RAL and Paint Codes we use a NIX Sensor® to analyse small samples of wood veneer. As this scanner
focuses on surface fibres, the results provided may not accurately represent
the overall appearance of the full veneer. It does not detect tannins or
account for natural variations in structure and colour that may occur along the
length of the veneer.

Highly Recommend

A fantastic family run business!! I showed up unannounced but they still took the time to see me and give me the advice I was after. Supremely knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend. Above all they value each and every customer on a personal level which is a quality that is sorely lacking nowadays.
